Project Management in a Nut Shell is a fundamental project management course that is intended for the student who does not have any knowledge or having limited and basic knowledge on project management and who wishes to know about the basic elements of Project Management and pursue their career in Project Management.
This is a customized course which will give an overview of the Project Management principles, frameworks, phases & processes, and roles & responsibility of a Project Manager. The syllabus is based on the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK), presented by a practicing project manager who is PMP (Project Management Professional) certified.

A PMP certified Project Manager with 18 years in project management and consultation services. Experienced in various industries and sectors managing Telco and IT Projects in MNC status companies, within a diverse cross-functional team and within multi-cultural background and environment.
After graduating in BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hanyang University of Seoul South Korea, he started his career as an R&D Engineer in Samsung SDI.
He started his career as a Project Manager at Flextronics Technology in 2005 where he has managed several Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone Projects. He has also successfully served as Project Manager at AT&T and IBM as Infrastructure Project Manager from 2011 to 2016, managing Telco and IT Projects for Shell and Kimberly Clarke among others. Currently, he is working on a few government IT Projects on a project basis with several local IT Companies.
He is also experienced in coaching and conducting Basic and fundamental Project Management and Change Management Courses for beginners.
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
It is a tailored Project Management Course which teaches the fundamental and basic of Project Management subject.
This is not a certified course but it will you all the fundamental knowledge for students to prepare for a certification course
This course will take approximately 3 hours.
In general, anybody who has an interest in project management – Students, working people, newbies, private and government sectors, etc.
Upon completing this course, will I be eligible to take Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Depends. To be certified, you need to register with PMI to enable you to take the exam. You will also need to have thousands of hours of managing projects (Based on your education – Degree or Diploma) before you are eligible to enroll with PMI. Upon registration, you will need to attend a 5-Day PMP Training before you can sit for the exam. This course will certainly help you with all the basic knowledge in Project Management in order to help you to cope with the heavy demand for PMP Training.
